What is MAC address and why do you need it?

MAC address is simply a unique identifier code that is used to link your device to our service when you use MAG box, IPTV box, STB Emulator or Smart-STB on Samsung/LG Smart TV

Each device can have different MAC addresses when it has multiple network interfaces or network cards. Also, there are physical and virtual MAC addresses. For example, your Amazon Firestick has a physical MAC address and the STB Emulator app that you install on the Firestick create a virtual MAC address.

The MAC address that we need to activate your device on our server always come in the form of 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX (when you follow our instructions on our setup page). It is either a physical MAC address of MAG, IPTV boxes or virtual MAC address from the STB Emulator app

The MAC address can be found by following the setup instructions for your device. It might require you to download an app like STB Emulator.

For some Multi-media boxes and MAG devices, the MAC address can be found under device settings or as an actual physical sticker on the box.

In short, if you use MAG box, IPTV box, STB Emulator app, or Smart-STB app you MUST provide us with the MAC address when placing your order for a subscription. There is a MAC Address field on the checkout form.
